Aeos could understand why Uni was a little nervous about him being there while she was so modestly dressed but Aeos was no perv and knew how to keep his eyes where they belonged and away from where they didn't. "Well to be honest i'm more of of a sword fighter myself but pistols are a lot of fun." While saying this he slipped out his Colt and started spinning it on his finger absent mindedly.

Uni eyed it. "I've allways found that a sword works wonders," She said, while gesturing for him to come into her room if they were going to talk. "My swords on the bed if you want to look," She said, dipping her hand into the dresser, and then slipping into the bathroom so that she could change, and wouldn't have to hold the towel up.

Aeos took a seat and grabbed the blade, hefting it. "Wow it has a nice a weight to it." He pulled the sword from it's sheath and was even more surprised by the excellent balance and the fact that it was ornate but not excessively. "Now this is how a sword should be. I guess you'd like to see mine now huh? Zangetsu would you mind stepping in here for a minute?" All of a sudden a tall and dark looking man wearing tattered blood red robes walked through the wall into the room. "This is my spirit, King Shade Zangetsu." "I am pleased to meet you." Zangetsu said to Uni with a bow. "Hey Zan, ya mind changing into your sword form for me." Without a word the great spirit swept into himself and was suddenly a sword that was 12 inches wide and almost as tall as Aeos. Aeos picked up the gigantic blade and tossed it to Uni. "What do you think?" he asked with a grin

Uni caught it, and was surprised. "It's light!" She said, blinking as she whirrled it over her head. She handed it back ti Aeos, and bowed to the sword. "It is an honor Zangetsu." She retreated to the bathroom, then reapeared with a short black dress on, it was really her only good outfit, and one of the three that wasn't ripped or tattered. "And yes, my sword has weight, that's why I have to practice." She smiled, and slid her sword into the sheath. "I paid full price for it. I was lucky to get out of there with my life!" she laughed, and sat at the table. "Well that was how it was at most places. it seemed I allways did something wrong. Same with all my adopted families. They never kept me for long. I was always to unusual, or dark, or weird." She shruged, and looked out the open window, aware she was talking with the guildmaster, and a king shade. Moths fluttered around the window, as stars winked in and out of view as clouds passed over them.

"Hahaha to be honest all those traits that you got you into trouble before are the kinds of things that are appreciated at the guild. I guess we are all a little bit off when it comes to collective sanity. I bet you were surprised when you found out what me and Jeni are really like rather than the stuffy, power and status drunk old dudes you were probably expecting the Guildmasters to be."

Uni nodded, "Yes, I knew your faces from around. I've been here for perhapse three months now, but I never talked to you. I suspect that not many candidates do." She motioned around the room, "We are not the most High standing of all the people here." She chuckled, "I'm surprised your here now. I'm not much diffrent that anyone else here." She looked questioningly at him and Zangetsu.

"Oh ho but that's where you are wrong. Like you said most candidates wouldn't come near me, but when I greeted you, you didn't try to run away or anything and you dropped the honorifics as soon as I asked you to. You are different from the other candidates because you talk to me like i'm a regular person."

"Well, your not regular, but I get your point." She stared out of the window again for a few moments. "And I guess I talk to you like this because I never really had someone over me, telling me what to do. For the last five years I've been all by myself, drifting from place to place. No one has ever told me what to do. I guess I find the concept somewhat stange." She looked back at Aeos and Zangetsu, smiling.

Uni smiled, "Well Ya. Your the guildmaster, so of course you could." She shruged, a slightly evil smile curling her lips, "But would I obay? That's the question." She shook her head, to show she was kiding. "I would obay, even if it killed me. Your lucky, you've got one candidate who dosen't fear dieing, and would trow away her life for anyone here." She shighed, and started playing with her hair again, twisting it into knots, and braiding it before running her fingures through it, to straihgten it again.

Uni smiled and held open the door. "I can understand. Most things in life are. But if you will excuse me, I belive I must be off to sleep. I haven't had any for the past three nights." She bowed and closed the door before closing the window, estiquising the lamps, an sliping between the sheets. Ah...Bliss...

Amaranth tried very hard not to eavesdrop, but found it was impossible. She really would have to smack whatever idiot designed the walls- thickness, please! But he was probably long dead. Oh, well. She heard every word the other two said, and sighed. She thought she was unusual? Pfft! At least she looked normal! That's probably why the Guildmaster hadn't tried to talk to her. And she'd've never dropped the honorific. One of the lingering effects of being a servant all your life was that you never thought yourself quite good enough to speak to anyone on your own terms. Besides, no one wanted to have anything to do with used goods.
She turned over on her bed and stared at the opposite wall as the other two said good night, allowing her mind to wander. Where did it always go when it wandered? Right back to him. She turned her face into her pillow to muffle her sobs and eventually dropped off to sleep.

Uni streached, it felt so good to be rested! She swung her legs out of bed, and walked over to the window. She pushed the shutteres aside, and looked out at the view. It was much nicer than her old room view had been. She smiled, and fetched a hairbrush. After making sure that she didn't look like a zombie, she went opened her door, and went outside into the hall.

It was official. She had no idea where she was. She stood outside her door, staring blankly in several different directions at once, if that was possible. She was dressed in her typical blue outfit, and her longbow, crossbow, and quiver of arrows were slung over her shoulder. She had arranged her hair in the way she always arranged it, and no makeup, as usual. She thought she was horribly ugly, and makeup would only enhance that. It certainly didn't need enhancing. When Uni opened her door, Amaranth shot her a small smile. "Um. Any idea how to get to... anywhere?"
