*The following takes place (between 7:00 and 8:00 pm of the California Presidential Primary...lol, not) following and overlapping Honor & Pride. This is NOT however, a time warp.
........Illyra shrugged. "Only if you want to." It was plain he didn't care, and she sighed. She was stuck with the oblivious Gilgamesh who also had no sense of direction in an alternate sort of world, with only one, flimsy idea of how to get out. Fortunately it had only been...what? A couple of hours? Not long. Carefully she extended her reach of whatever sort of magic she possessed to the fire, feeling beyond. It was much like angling for a fish, although Illyra had never done such a thing and probably never would. Suddenly something 'tugged' on her line, and she tried to bring it in.... Succeeding in pitching them both into the Guild kitchen. Illyra turned to grin at the other in sucess, but noted soemthing, and frowned. There was no activity. The kitchen looked unused, there was no food set out. It was deadly quiet, and Illyra felt uneasy.

"Yes! It worked! How'd you do it anyways?" He asked looking around, though the question was soon replaced by another one. "Why is it so quiet?"

"I don't know," she said faintly, sounding tense and ignoring his question. Something wasn't right. And she wanted to check on Siyana. The kestrel was probably hungry, it had been awhile since she'd been fed.

Gilgamesh looked around unhappily. "Something just...doesn't feel right."

((Of course! I love her too much! ) It was depressing. "Should we go soemwhere else?" she asked tentatively, not bright or cheerful or sarcastic or cocky anymore.

((^^ I don't have the courage to even attempt killing Siyana.))
"Fine," Lyra agreed, but didn't move. He could lead, she wasn't eager to.

She followed close behind, unnerved more by the silent, still Guild than Vintaph's forest of doom.

"This is almost as bad as that forest..." Gilgamesh shuddered.

Keep moving. Don't stop. It was instinctual to not want to stay in one place, sicne everything felt so wrong. Lyra grimaced. "Yes. I think it is..."

"Why is everything so silent...this place is normally so busy..." Gilgameh shuddered.

"We were only gone....a couple hours." So she didn't like Jilath, and wasn't so fond of the Guild where everything was so wasteful, so disorganized, so.... But this was just creepy.
