((Hopefully this'll show why much of the Guild is insane. XP))
A white carpet covered the ground, but whenever Thyme tried to touch it it wasn't there. It was like nothing she'd seen in Lolarion. Maybe she really was going crazy. It was so hot out. Durra stopped in his tracks and refused to move any further, forcing Thyme to carry him and become even warmer due to the cat's body heat. more of the white stuff continued to fall from a gray sky, but once more she could not feel it as it hit her body. An hour or so passed in this condition, when Thyme spotted a rickety building in the distance. Reluctantly she picked up the pace, divided skirt going swish-swish as she moved. Finally she reached it, and saw painted on a sign- Clara's Insane Asylum. She didn't know what an Asylum was, but Insane....it must be where she belonged. She rapped on the stone door with no hesitation. The stone door was no longer existing. The Asylum had been knocked down long ago. Instead she was knocking on a stone wall. The Guild of the Eastern Wind had been built on that very same spot.

((I Love it!!))
Walking down the hallway, in the opposite dirrection of the infirmary, Aethelred made his way past the Main Entrance towards the kitchens. He was going down there to get something to eat, and hoping to avoid getting sick, like everyone else seemed to be doing. He was also going to get something for Selwyn and Arya, who had practically quarantined themselves in their room. He stopped however, after hearing a knock on the door. Well, he might as well see who it was, and he went over and pulled open the door, meeting the gaze of a young girl. "Hello." He said pleasantly, vaguely wondering who she was and why she had come.

((Of course! But could you wait for, oh, maybe five more posts?))
Thyme looked a little surprise. (Fortuantely he looked alright- a year younger, but that wasn't noticeable.) "Oh," she said in an accent that slurred her words slightly, making them sound softer than they really were. "You don't seem insane." She looked puzzled, shifting Durra to her right arm, leaving the 'painted' one exposed.

Aethelred gave her a quizical look. "Well, that might be because I'm not insane." He answered her with a small chuckle, wondering just were she had gotten the impression that he was. Those words certainly weren't anything he had expected to hear. As he moved to the side a bit, clearing the entrance for her, he noticed the tattoo on her arm. It was interesting, and he wondered what it meant. He certainly had his own "tattoo," though his was covered most of the time. And he mostly liked it that way.

((-snickers- More Thyme-ness to come...))
Thyme just blinked, looking a little confused, but nonplussed. "The sign said it was Insane," she still said in her odd accent, struggling with the now-struggling Durra. The cat mangaed to win the fight, jumping from her arms and racing past Aethelred. Thyme looked ruefully. "I should go after her." But she stayed put.

"What sign?" Aethelred asked, raising a single silver eyebrow in question. He didn't see any sign. Much less one that said the Guild was insane. Though, in all honesty, there probably should be one... Anyway, as Durra had escaped, Aethelred glanced over his shoulder and saw the feline take off and dissappear around a corner. "By all means, go get her. I'll even help." He said with a grin. Then it faltered for a moment. "But, we should be quick. There seems to be a very serious illness spreading through the Guild, and I wouldn't want you to get sick." He warned.

Thyme took this in quietly, thinking for a couple of moments. "There's a sign. It says Clara's Insane Ace-I-loum," she pronounced carefully. The girl looked at him with curiosity. How could he live here and not know that? "Durra'll be fine. unless there's catnip. She loves it lots, but she's allergic. I don't want to get sick either."

"Ok then. And I really have no idea about any catnip, I wouldn't know, I have no pets." Aethelred explained, then thought about her previous comment. Curious, though still thinking it was strange, he just had to see for himself. He took a step past her and looked outside, gazing up at the large castle, looking for any trace of a sign. He saw none. So, he just stepped back inside with a sort of bemused look on his face. "I still don't know what sign you are referring to but..." He paused, looking for something to say. "So, what brings you to the Guild?" He asked the first question that popped into his mind.

"Oh...it's an herb....and cats like it but she's severely allergic, and always gets colic-y from it." Thyme nodded slightly to herself solemnly, before frowinging. "It is right there." She pointed directly at it, confused as to what was going on. "And what's the Guild? I haven't heard of a thing called that..."
((Lol. We started our drug unit in Health, and I realized that from my description of Thyme and her seeing things makes her sound like she's on PCP or some other hallucigonen....))

Aethelred decided to drop the whole sign thing, since, clearly, there was nothing there. Instead, he was curious as to how she had never heard of the Guild, but was currently standing in it. "Well.." He began, wondering just where to start, "You're in the Guild. This castle," he said, sweeping an arm around, "is it. It's headed by two Guildmasters, you can have the opportunity to bond to a spirit, and we fight against our enemy, the Collective, who live up there in the mountains." He said, finishing with pointing in the general dirrection of the mountains outside the castle.
