As the war between Jilath and Vintpah progressed, no one noticed what a toll was being wraught upon their world, Kinuva. Both armies, those of the Collective and Guilds, were slowly destroying their world, as neither god really cared about the destruction, just that they might have power and defeat the other. But the planet screamed in pain. Its fields were becoming sticky with the stain of blood, too many of its animals hurt in their fights against each other, plants dying from wreakage of the battles, and the very nature of the planet getting thrown haywire from the lack of balance. Everything sentinent on the planet cried for help, beggaring both Jilath and Vintaph. But they were so locked within their struggle the pleads went unheeded, and Kinuva began to starve. It starved for soemthing to even out the balance, to heal it, to protect it from the ferocious battles being waged. It yearned for peace, at least a temporary one, for it to grow and shift to adapt to the circumstances. But everything was happening too fast- the planet couldn't adapt and evolve. Scars still showed upon it from the long ago nuclear war. It was from this hurting and longing that Illyra was born. Immediately she turned away from her siblings, who plagued her to join each of them, in digust. Her primary concern was the planet, and it was there she began to work. Known as the Goddess of Preservation, she is also the Patron of the Arts, including Healing, Music, Magic, Art, Life, and Death.
