Idena was obsessing over something blue again. This time, it happened to be a feather. A pretty blue feather. She'd hung it from the end of her bed. Now she was sitting staring at it, and folding a sheet of paper to mimic it. Then, later, she'd be able to make it again. It might not be helpful, but at least it was fun and passed the time. Blue Feather Blue Feather Blue Feather... She sang in her mind, giggling happily as she did so.

Amori stared at Idena blankly. Sometimes.... Would you stop it? she asked tartly. This had been going on for what felt like hours....well, it wasn't as bad as the time they had gone to the ocean. The mute girl shivered at the thought of that.

But it's Pretty. Idena held up her origami feather. See? Pretty. She waved her hand, and the feather changed to a bird. It wasn't as big as some she'd made. Some of her birds could carry passengers. She smiled, and then dissolved into giggles again as the bird took off and zoomed around the room. When she'd recovered slightly, she twitched a finger, and another sheet of paper settled in front of her. She drew a finger across it, and it split. What do you want?

Very pretty. She agreed, ducking as the paper bird flew towards her. Idena probably meant oragami for the paper and what she want... Horsie? she suggested, ready to watch. Idena's skills never seemd to amaze her...one could never do so well with cloth.

Big or small? Idena asked, ready to pull more paper if a big horsie was required. Animals weren't the only things she could do, but they were fun to play with, and never complained. And each one had a personality, Idena had seen to that, although she felt no regret when she took them apart. They weren't alive.

Small. Defnitely small....the last time a large one had been made, Amori was the one who got trampled. Malimor chittered and climbed from his hiding place into Amori's lap, watching Idena warily.

Okay! Idena turned back to the paper, and poked it for a little bit before she moved a hand over it. The paper crumpled, then became a little horse. It's triangular face turned to watch Kikimi who was standing on the back on the back of Amori's chair, about to tackle Malimor. "Fun!" Although she couldn't hear her own voice, Idena was able to speak.

Amori watched, fascinated, before wincing at Idena's voice. Speak softer... The one problem with Idena being deaf is she never knew how loud she was speaking.... Tentatively she held out a hand to the horse.

Kikimi fell off the back of the chair, and Idena giggled, her hand over her mouth to stop herself from talking loudly. The horse tilted it's head to one side, and then nuzzled Amori's hand with it's pointed nose. At least this one didn't seem to be making a brake for freedom...

She sighed slightly with relief, patting the horse's head slightly. /Some/ of the paper critters had /not/ liked her at all....like that one dog...the thought itself was frightening. But not as frightening as what /she/ had done to it later...matches, Amori discovered, sould be great friends.

Idena had been mad about that. It was a waste of good paper. "Kikimi," Idena called, her voice loud even though her hands were still covering her mouth. "Come Come!" The otter stared at the horse, then skirted it, and clambered up Idena's side. The girl looked up at her sister. Can we go now? I'm bored.

Where should we go? Malimor stared at the paper. The otter really didn't like these creations... Will it hurt me?

Idena thought about this. The pair of them really were not allowed outside, but that'd never really stopped them. They'd never been caught so far! Stables! I want to make a big horsie! Idena smiled, and stood up, twitching a finger so that a copious amount of paper from the pile in the corner flowed around her, creating a long robe. She giggled, as she always did, it tickled. "Ready to go!" She touched the small horsie on the tail, and it crumbled, and the paper added itself to Idena's robe.

Ooh! Big horsie! Her eyes danced with happiness and she clapped her hands in excitement, before wtaching enviously as the paper gathered towards Idena. After her words Amori nodded joyfully, trotting after her twin. Malimor decided to stay inside.

"Hurry Amori! Kikimi keeps moving, and it's wrinkling the paper." She poked the otter, who glared at her, and fidgeted again. Idena shruged, and stared at the wall, waiting for her sister. Neither liked to be apart, mostly because together they had a complete set of sense, while apart, they were both disabled. Idena couldn't read lips well, unless she followed the movements with her own lips, which caused problems. That was there Amori came in. Amori listened, and Idena spoke because Amori could not.
