"Hmm." It'd be something to look into. Maybe she could help with those at the Guild, if they ever had children...but probably not. Plus Eris had /that/ tone.... Era sighed, rolling her eyes oh-so-slightly. "Really, Eris, when will you stop?" The despair in her voice, combined with the sorrow.... It wouldn't be too late to stabilize him. But stabilizing people was so hard, and she'd only done it with animals....

"Well, it's not like they're going to die or anything... My little uglies are tough! And I tell them so, eeeeeeeevery day! Why would I want to stop? They're so fun to play with! Even when they are annoying and mean to me..."

"Even the ones at the Guild?" she probed. Obviously, Eris still hadn't realized that Era was /alive/, and not a hallucination. Hadn't Eris /killed/ her? Humorlessly she grinned.

"Well, I obviously can't talk to them if they're not here..." Eris said in the way of one explaining to a small child that it rains because a god is crying and that it's probably that child's fault. "...But I would tell them that if they were!"

"There's other ways to tell them than verbally." She cocked her head slightly, again fiddling with a lock of hair. "If you wanted, which I suppose you don't, I could partially stabalize him now. Just so his shifting is under control, and instincts aren't such a big deal..." Eris would probably refuse. Era didn't care.

"Like the instinct to run away when he's spooked? OKAY! Go ahead. But I have to be there, 'cause otherwise you'll do something weird!" Eris hummed to herself as she led her sister, who she completely hated, to her newest plaything.

"And more." Now she stood by Navek with a look of barely controlled rage upon her face, although it crackled in her eyes. Sighing slightly, she set to work, using a combination of slight magic and heavy technology on Navek, fixing a couple of problem. There were some more unpleasant things caused by it, but at least they weren't as bad....He wouldn't have problems with trying to shift. Or horsey instincts while being human. But the instincts would be double as a horse, and unfortunately he WAS a stallion, which already caused issues. But at least he had control over his forms.

"Why're you so maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad, Era?" Eris asked in a sing-song voice, prancing in a circle. "You're so silly! Oh, yeah, you have to leave soon- I can't have you giving Thistlie or Tessie any ideeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaasssssssssssss! Oh, and leave my other uglies alone."

"Fine. I can leave. But would you mind if I took the horsie with me? I'll make it up to you somehow....Oh dear. He's waking up...." She didn't feel like explaining why she was upset, as Eris /knew/.

"No, I need him. But you have to go now, 'specially if he's waking up. I'll have to aquaint him with the new circumstances..."
((Now you can, Jeni.))

Owww.. Navek thought to himself groggily. Everything hurt. Especially his head. He didn't think he'd ever had a worse headache in his life. Even thinking seemed to make it worse. And the voice he was hearing seemed so much louder, like each was just pounding into his ears, even though they weren't all that loud. Wait... Voices? He didn't recognize who was talking. Nor did he quite remember just what had happened or where he was. His eyes opened slowly, cautiously, as he tried to regain some recognition, and he wasn't liking the dreading feeling he had so far.

So she had refused. The barest hint of a smile still remained after her rage, and it grew the slightest bit. Era could always steal him, somehow. But now she whistled to the snake, who obediently slithered away from it's position next to Navek, throwing the boy a wink before disappearing as quickly as she came.

"Oh, Navek, dear!" Eris said, turning to her newest toy. "I'm so sorry- you seem to have hit your head... Are you alright, now? I'm Eris. Sooo nice to meet you. Your sisters are around here somewhere.. I'm afraid the elder is in time-out right now, and the younger is looking after her..."
