Rocco ignored her, looking around to find Apple. There were so many of the Lazuli around that she seemed to be hidden. Plus, his vision was blurry from the irritation of cold snow. He shivered. Turning his attention back to Memory, he said, "No problem. Watch where you're going next time." His tone was not kind.

It struck her, as it had many times before.
Her gang could be so insane.
Tanevi closed her eyes and took a deep breath.
She would only be stuck with them a little while longer, and then she'd actually have a room where she could escape to.

Memory stuck her tongue out at him, and then resumed running screaming in circles. Til flew over, flittted in front of Rocco's face, and then pecked him in the eye. Then she flew after Hers, still pursued by Semmi.

Rocco cursed in shook his fist at Til. "Damn youuuuuu!!!!" He yelled in such despair. Carvet just tee-hee'd insanely, zooming around and screaming at Zephyr.
That's what you ge-et, that's what you ge-et. Na na-na boo boo!!!!! Zephyr would have surely shot the dragon, had Carvet not (1) saved his life, (2) sworn to secrecy, never to reveal his true name, especially in front of Tanevi, and (3) was his only friend. He settled for rubbing his eye, which was becoming puffy and it was crying.

Apple watched all this from a safe distance. She disliked most of the gang, they got on her nerves. She took a real apple out of her pack, inspected it for marks, and took a bite. She might as well watch the fun from here.
