"Where is it written that life is fair?" Az shot back, her head on one side, and her legs dangling over the edge of the building again.

"Yep!" With a wave, Az disappeared again. Hatine drifted down, and muttered to Zero, "She doesn't sleep in the guild. She sleeps in town, here...." She giggled, and zoomed off after Az.

Zero followed her, he wasn't going back to the guild until she did.

Az lept from roof-top to roof-top, enjoying the cold air on her face. She'd probably should be getting back to her room, Ai might be there...

Zero followed swiftly down the alleys beneath the rooftops she was traveling. He'd need to find a room for the night somewhere...he'd do that later.

"Get him of my back please," Az muttered to Hatine. "Why? This is amusing." Az sighed; if this took any longer she'd have to deal with him. She didn't want to deal with him, she was having a good day...

Zero was gone from the alley's now, as if he had dissappeared completely.

Az, after having slowed to a walk, dropped down into an ally, and after checking all around, and with Hatine, she slipped back into the main street, and then walked up it until she reached her lodgings.

Zero was of course still following, though he was hidden well enough that only Jilath herself could've found him.

Az, after looking around once more, went inside the inn, and made her way across the semi-clean floor to her room. Hatine decided to stay behind and cause some more mayhem in the bar. Once inside her room, Az slid the bolt home, clicked the lock into place, and slid a chair under the handle, a precaution she used every night. The window was also bolted, and the chimney was closed off....

Zero waited about half an hour then strolled into the Inn and rented the room right next to hers.

Yawning, Az shuffled some papers on her desk, before flopping onto the bed and closing her eyes.

Zero sat on his bed and pondered how he would go about getting Az to like him.
