After four days of her transformation, and two days after Idena's, and about right as the latter was waking, Amori's mind finally edged out of the empty black abyss where it had gone and gradually entered a land of dreams, which turned out ot be more nightmares. Plus she was cold -so unbelievingly cold!- from the freezing winter nights, in which she shivered and curled up tighter. Still it seemed she'd be out for another couple of days, three at the most, and no one wanted to be around when she did awake.
Especially Zeyan.
Malimor had found his master, and had been puzzled by her. She didn't look any different to him, but smelled odd. Plus it had been unnerving for the otter to see her in such a condition, especially while her lower body began to grow back....nevertheless, he was faithful to her, and curled up next to her, only leaving to get something to eat.
Oh- there'd been some odd man who sort of smelled like how Amori now did, but not quite. But Malimor had ignored him, as Zeyan had done nothing to him...

((Well, eventually. once Amori wakes up. RIght now I mainly have it for Zeyan and Idena, and I'll have Malimor actualy speak...))

Kikimi, as was her nature, glomped Malimor, and bit his ear. Idena followed afterward, not cold, despite the large drifts of snow all around her. She had her paper wraped aroun her, but it wasn't really helping her. She kept looking back a her hand, which had gone white.

Malimor squealed, before turning and tackling her sister, and venturing a rare word to Idena.

It was unusual for Kikimi or Malimore to talk, unlike other pets. Malimor sniffed slightly at Idena, noting that she, too, smelled different. Not wrong, just different. And not by that much....just something.

Zeyan had been sitting in an armchair, his favorite in fact, that sat near a litr fireplace in one of the many rooms of the rather odd log cabin/mansion hidden deep in the forest. He heard telepathic voices drifting at the edge of his conscious and decided to check on Amori.

Malimor, now tiring of play-fighting with Idena, swirled around Idena, remarking, Odd man around.[/i]
He could sense the odd man coming back, carrying his almost rusty scent with him.

What that?[/i] He sounded worried, a first for Malimor. That didn't sound liek a good thing.
Amori, still completely out, stopped shivering. It was almost as if she could sense Idena was there, even throug everything else.

Mean's she's dead by still aware. That was how Idena had always had it described to her. She'll be okay, hopefully...

That didn't make /any/ sense to Malimor, who couldn't see how someone could be dead and aware. Confused, he scrambled on top of Amori's side, and perched there. Rust?[/i] he offered.

Rust? Idena asked, confused now. What does that mean? She caught Kikimi before she tackled the tree, and held her at arms length.
