"Fair enough." Just as he said it, a colorful flyer blew through the air in front of him and he caught it. He read it over and grinned. "How's a carnival sound?"

". . ." The look on Ceredin's face would have terrified anyone with any more than half a brain. Hell, a blind/deaf/mute would have been afraid. And that would be just of the sudden chill in the air.
Of course, Calyx was exempt, because he was too stupid to notice anything. Well, that's what Ceredin told herself, but it was probably more like because he knew she wouldn't actually kill him, except maybe accidentally.
