Tessa, not quite realizing what she was doing, swept the hat back up on his head and gave him a quick kiss, before sinking back to her normal stance.
"Sorry..." she murmured, turning red after she relaized what she had done. Yellow eyes studied Khe warily...

Khe looked surprised for a bit then smiled. "Why would you ever want to apologize for something as pleasant as that..." He said in a happy dreamy sort of voice.

Khe had no idea where it came from but he couldn't help himself, he leaned across the table and kissed her quickly, just a mere brush of lips.

Immense ecstacy and relief filled her as he returned her kiss with his own. It would have been horrible if it had been only her who thought that way....
Golden eyes positively shone with happiness.

Khe was still leaned in, his face about an inch from hers. "It looks like you enjoyed that..." He managed, for the first time in his life almost at a loss for words.

Saying that was logical enough for someone who had felt utterly alone. Her breath caught in her throat before she kissed him again, only this time for a longer time.

So much had happened in a short amoung of time, and after the kiss was over she semi-collapsed backwards, yellow eyes firmly trained on Khe.
"I miss Naja..." she murmured, wondering where that came form.

Khe quickly moved to her side of the table and put an arm around her comfortingly, hugging her while thinking of all the things he'd learned had happened to her while spying, it was amazing she didn't spend every day in tears. "Its alright..." He said reassuringly.

She nodded listlessly, leaning into his embrace. Tessa had no clue what had come over her...but all of a sudden she missed Naja dearly, and Oyam...and there was nothing she could do about it. Hot tears pressed against her eyes but she blinked them but, although they burned.

Khe kissed her cheek and rubbed her back comfortingly. "Shhh....shh...its ok, i'm here, its all ok..." He said. He felt horrible watching tears flow from her rebellious eyes.

Petrified she tried to get them too stop, but failed. They dripped off her face and onto her shirt, forming big spots of saltwater...
Tessa tried to nod, as well as shake the water off her face. As that failed, she reached up with the arm not pinned between his body and hers to wipe off the remaining ones, straightening somewhat as she swallowed the rest.
An odd realization came over her.
Had she learned to trust?
