Calyx kissed her cheek. "Don't worry, I can wait."

"Meh." Now Ceredin was at a loss for what to do or say. Normally, at this point in a conversation she would go back to her room. Unfortunately, she wasn't sure if she could move at all. She wondered if Calyx even cared what had happened- he didn't seem interested at all.

In reality, he just didn't want to bring it up. That was a part of both their lives he never wanted to think about again.

"Kick me? Sounds terrifying." Navek replied sarcastically. Somewhere, his brain was reminding him that this was not the time to taunt anyone, he should really just listen to her and go. However, he wasn't really paying attention to it.
Zeth gave her a small smile, glad that she would get near him again. He looked back at her, his brown eyes still slightly wet from the tears. "Did that answer anything?" He asked quietly, bringing a hand up and resting it on the side of her face, cupping her cheek gently. He would've rather scooped her up off the ground and hugged her, but, as pointed out, he wouldn't squish Sonya.

Thistlen could have killed him. "It isn't funny, dammit! Just go!" She did not sound at all like herself.
Well, all right. She'd accept it for now, and think about it later. "I," she announced, placing Sonya back in her cradle, "Am going to sit down." And she did.

Navek was actually surprised to her her tone of voice shift. Thistlen really wasn't sounding anything like herself. Maybe he should just go. Even though he didn't want to. "Fine, I'll leave, if you insist. But you had better catch up, you hear? If not, I'm comming after you." He told her resoundly, leaving no room for argument about it.
Zeth smiled as he walked over and sat down beisde her, wrapping an arm around her in the process. "Do you want to talk about what happened?" He asked, giving her the option, he didn't want to pry or make her feel uncomfortable.

"Fine, just leave!" Deciding that staying still wasn't a good idea- the Wisp had apparently halted the movement of whatever animal it was using and was waiting for a good moment- Thistlen dashed off to the left, trying to make it look as though she knew exactly what she was doing.
From her position on the floor, Amaranth glanced anxiously at Sonya's cradle, but it was silent- apparently, the baby had decided to just go to sleep again. Satisfied, she shrugged. "I fear it is rather obvious," she said, making it clear that she was not at all interested in talking about it. "Is she-" she gestured vaguely to the cradle, "-all right?"

Navek gave a small sigh as he saw Thistlen take off, and not a second later he was gone as well. He wasn't really sure how long he would give her if she didn't come back until he returned. But first, he knew he had to make it back to the Guild to make sure everyone else was safely there.
Zeth got the hint and droped the subject. "Oh, Sonya?" He said, looking over at the craddle. "Yes, she's alright. I think right now she just may be a bit overwhelmed with your return or something." He guessed, not really knowing the exact reason for her fussing earlier. "But she's been wonderful since she arrived, if not a little mischevious."

Crap... Crap, crap, crap! Thistlen had no idea what to do. All she could do was draw it away, she supposed... It was chasing her, which was a good thing for the others but a bad thing for Thistlen. Damn! She couldn't even fly! Eris had found out about her little excursion to the Guild and had been so angry she'd clipped her wings. For a creature like Thistlen, this was the worst torture imaginable, worse than any stretch of time in the bad-bad room. And then she'd been locked in, too! She had only managed to lock Eris in because the woman had actually remembered to come to feed her, and she'd seized the opportunity to, rather violently, switch places. So she wasn't exactly in fighting condition. Oh, well. She was going to die anyway, so she might as well go out helping the others get away... There was a snarl behind her, and Thistlen halted and turned. Great. A tiger. Wonderful.
"Sonya..?" Oh, so he'd named her. Well, that was fine, and the name was nice, anyway. And she was very glad that she was all right. She had been so worried...

As Navek kept running he heard a distant growl, immediatley thinking back to Thistlen and the Whisp. He was fighting the urge to go back and help. He really wanted to, but she had so feircely insisted that he go on ahead and make sure the others were safe. Navek didn't like being conflicted.
Listening to the way Amaranth said Sonya's name, he realized that she had not yet known. "Oh, yes. Well, I named her Sonya shortly after she was given to me. I hope that's alright and you like it." He said hopefully.

Amaranth attempted a half-smile. "It is nice. I do like it."
Oh, crap. This was not good. Thistlen threw an arm in front of her face, and the claws hit that instead of her eye- which still hurt, but was much better. Crap, crap, crap, crap, crap! How the hell was she going to get out of this?

"You sure?" Zeth asked, noticing her less then comforting smile.
As Navek was running through the forest he slowly began to slow down from the frantic dash towards the Guild. Not that he was lacking energy, more that he was lacking motivation. He still wanted to make sure everyone was safe, but he also still wanted to make sure Thistlen was safe. Leaving her behind was the last thing he wanted to do. Shit. I don't know what to do. He thought to himself bitterly. What if I changed into a horse? That could help. He considered, trying to think of any negatives to that situation. It would certainly make him faster. And if he decided to turn back, it could certainly help in the fight against that Whisp. But, Thislten had ordered him to go on. Then again, since when did Navek fully obey orders? So conflicted...
