*NOTE* I'm not going to roleplay this because, well, obviously I can't roleplay with myself... So I just wrote a story snippet/mini-plot that I thought was necessary to clear things up about Flitz and Kagami... So... Enjoy. */Note*
Flitz, five years old, was in a small room, which she took to be a poor family’s home. And she was cowering with another girl and she looked almost exactly like Flitz, except for the hair and eyes. Their mother was standing before them, crying as she was being beaten by someone; their father. The only thing that Flitz and the girl could do was cry and scream at the horrid man to stop. But, he was going to kill them soon, she could feel it. When their mother lay still on the floor before them, bleeding from her head, their dad advanced on them. They held on tighter to each other, hoping their father would spare their lives.
Deep, deep in the forest that separated the mountains from the village beside the Castle, one girl slept, and another watched. It was dark, much, much later after the early sunset and nearing midnight. Two swords lay on the foliage, one very large, one much smaller and curved. Both of the girls were extremely petite and looked almost identical, if it weren't for two odd factors that both girls portrayed. The girl who watched the slumbering girl had very long purple hair and plum-red eyes. The sleeping girl had the exact inverse of those colors, with short, plum-red hair and purple eyes. Both had the same slanted eyes, high cheek bones that were starting to show with their growing age. The same long noses, the same rosey lips. Even their skins’ complexions. Even their strange accents. And, even their birthdays were the same.
Impatience grew upon the watching girl. Reaching for a mirror hanging on a long chain around her neck, she decided that it would hurt nothing to speed up the process a bit. After all, she and her mirror were the ones who made her this way. Long, purple hair, that at first was in Kagami’s plum-red gaze and behind her shoulders, was now flying about behind her. Her back was straight, and hands grasped her now-glowing mirror gracefully. She held the mirror in such a way that her fingers pointed at Flitz, and when light-absorbing darkness left the mirror, the power entered Flitz. But, this only happened for a short, short moment. And the mirror was hanging, once again, far from Kagami’s neck.
Finally, close around midnight, Flitz woke with her strength renewed, “reflected” from Kagami’s mirror. She was dazed at first, wondering what the heck happened, then she saw it was dark and began to panic.
“Calm yourself,” said Kagami slowly. Flitz turned, straining her eyes to see her through the gloomy darkness.
“Who are you?” she asked, her eyes not completely focused.
The other was silent, then, for a very long time, then replied. “I am from your dreams. And you are from mine…”
Then, Flitz knew. She saw her sister for the first time in eleven years.
A heavy silence fell over the two for a while. Flitz felt completely numb, as did Kagami. Infact, neither knew how to feel at all. So many thoughts clouded their minds. And so many memories, too. For Flitz, all her the memories of having a sister so wonderful as Kagami were flooding into her mind. And she remembered what it was like to be so innocent and have a best friend. But, this was obviously too much to handle right now.
Suddenly, Flitz launched herself at her sister, hugging her tightly. Sobbing. Hard.
“I n-never knew…b-but I always wanted to know what it was like to have a sister…a-and I h-have you!” she said through sobs. Kagami hugged her back, crying silently.
“I…I missed you, Flitz,” Kagami said, trying to make her voice strong, but it faltered and she started crying. She cried then, for a lot of reasons…It just wasn’t fair. What happened to them both. Their father killed their mother. Flitz escaped without her when Their father wanted to take them away. With out memories, Flitz remained blissfully ignorant of the pain, the loss, while Kagami was left to be with their horrid father, and left with the painful memories. It just wasn’t fair. But…They were finally together again.
Kagami stroked Flitz’s hair, and for a while, they cried. When their bodies felt too tired and heavy that they knew it was getting to be too late, Flitz finally spoke.
“What part of the forest are we in?” she asked.
“In the very heart of the forest…I thought it would be safer to tell you here than in the middle of a battle…But I suppose I waited too long…I, er, suppose this is when we go away?”
“For now, anyway,” said Flitz. “I want to see you again.”
“Ditto.”
“Can we meet here tomorrow? Same place?” asked an eager Flitz.
“Yes…But here only if you know how to get here. I know this forest like the back of my hand. So I’ll be snooping around your Castle’s parade grounds early tomorrow and we can walk out to this spot... together. So you can memorize the way.” She hesitated to leave. Both of the did, looking very unsure. They hugged and Flitz picked up her sword, ready to leave.
“Promise you’ll be there tomorrow?” she asked Kagami.
“Do you promise to be there?”
Flitz gave a single nod and turned to leave. "I'll see you tomorrow, then," she said, not looking back as she walked into the close-nit trees. She used her light-magic to guide her home in the darkness. And when Kagami saw the light of Flitz's magic fade to midnight, she left as well.
