Name: Riada Ney
Age:19
Year Added: Year Three, Age 18
Rank: Candidate
Appearance: 5'5. Blackish/blue eyes, and blackish blue hair down to her shoulders. Fair skin. Slender.
Personality: Due to her sheltered and privelleged upbringing, Riada was spoiled, but never a brat. She tries to understand all sides of a situation, but she has little to no worldy experience outside of her mansion, and books. She has high expectations fro the people she works with, and expects perfection, as that's all she's ever really known. While for the most part prim and proper, she has a definite rebelious streak.
History:
Riada was born into the nobility, into a family with strange traditions. The small and tight Ney family lives together, immediate and extended, all contained in the walled-off property, consisting of a garden, several small houses, two large ones, and a few shops and restaurants for the family to do buisness within themselves.
The only members of the Ney family permitted to leave the property were the leaders, all of whom were middle-aged men, including Riada's father. As for everyone else, they are required to remain within the esate, to live a comfortable yet limited life.
In Riada's case, she is the only daughter of one of the family's leaders, and doted on by many servants who made life as organized and simply -perfect- as it can be. As a leader's daughter, she had been heavilly guarded and hasn't even been able to experience everything there is within the Ney property, let alone the rest of the world. She loved to read, mostly fantasy. To her, reading was her only escape from the mundane world she lived in.
When she turned eighteen, she decided she didn't want her life to go to waste on the Ney property, and decided she'd sneak out one night and join the Guild, which she'd read about all her life. She knew very much about spirit bonding, as her family's traditions revolved around those spirits- learning about them, the well they came from, their power, etc. She figured if she joined, her life would be meaningful, somehow.
Bringing as little as she could- some food, rags, a butcher's knife, the robes used by her family during Spirit research (required- not wearing them would be 'sacreligious', acording to them-) and a few other odds and ends, she set out to join the Guild.
Figuring her family might pursue her, she tied her hair in public and gave herself an alias, 'Nen'.
(Is this okay?)
Personal Element: Wind.
Pets: N/A
Fighting Style: She doesn't fight very well yet, and is quite frail. She hopes to learn in the near future, as to give the Guild a hand.
Weapon(s) of Choice: For now, a butcher's knife. She's quite clumsy with it, and only brought it to defend herself on her trip.
