Are you goin' to Scarborough Fair? Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme. Remember me to one who lives there, she once was a true love of mine.
Tell her to make me a cambric shirt (On the side of a hill in the deep forest green). Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme (Tracing a sparrow on snow-crested ground). Without no seams nor needlework (Blankets and bedclothes the child of the mountain). Then she'll be a true love of mine (Sleeps unaware of the clarion call).
Tell her to find me an acre of land (On the side of a hill, a sprinkling of leaves). Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme (Washes the grave with silvery tears). Between salt water and the sea strands (A soldier cleans and polishes a gun). Then she'll be a true love of mine.
Tell her to reap it in a sickle of leather (War bellows, blazing in scarlet battalions). Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme (Generals order their soldiers to kill). And gather it all in a bunch of heather (And to fight for a cause they've long ago forgotten). Then she'll be a true love of mine.
Are you going to Scarborough Fair? Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme. Remember me to one who lives there, she once was a true love of mine.
It's kind of obvious why I posted it, if you look at the bold, BUT.... I just thought it fit the whole Guild/Collective war PERFECTLY. And the whole entire background and music to the song also fits. Only felt likesharing it because I've always adored the song, was looking up the lyrics randomly, and was like O.O when I saw them.

Wow. It really does fit just about perfectly! "And to fight for a cause they've long ago forgotten" Especially that line in some respects. Do you know of anywhere I could listen to the song? I'd really like to hear it.

Wow. I've actually heard that song before! I just didn't recognize it from the lyrics. But once it started playing I was like, "This seems odly familiar." And yes, the tune fits really well too ^^

It's a very popular song, and the background music has been used in a coupel other songs, so.... On a random note, I really like Simon and Garfunkel because their songs rock, and they wrote Mrs. Robinson. XD And I had an evil teacher last year named Mrs. Robinson, so....

Hahaha, that's funny. I actually haven't listened to their music a lot, only a few random songs here and there that I don't even know the names of. My parents have a CD or two of theirs though.

It looks like fun. I've always wanted to be in a band. That would be really cool. But, that's never going to happen. I can't even read music -_-;; I played the violin for about a month in 5th grade... yeah... that didn't last to long....

XD I'm not very good at actually reading the notes... I learn to read music by the placement of the note to the placement on the guitar.

Well, that works too! I remember playing guitar for a unit in middle school in music class. It was pretty fun, and I did ok at it.

I started with playing piano with a Russian teacher I /did not/ get along with. That was when I was four. She said she'd NEVER teach anyone under the age of six again. -smirks- I'm glad I left such a wonderful impression. But now I play mainly cello, and some piano.....
