Maybe I will have to ask him, or another mage. Then I will know for sure, and I will be able to pay him back for making a Gem for me. She stared up at the sky, her eyes going misty. That is until I find a way to get a star. Her head snapped back down to earth. I did not fall. Han told Sor, looking puzzled as he watched Lan. That head mystified Han....

Yes, someone else might have a good idea. Tis said with a nodd and then followed her gaze to the sky. Even though the stars are very nice and pretty, you can't get one. They are just gas. He told her, thinking logically like always. Suuuurrrreeeee. Sor replied with a grunt. Lan continued to let his gaze wander, from Atlantis, to Key, to Han, then back to his surroundings. He was always interested in what was going on around him, even if he didn't understand half of it.

I will do that then. She paused, as she always did when someone told her she couldn't get a star, I will find a way. Just you wait. Then I will share it with everyone, but not to much, because it'll be mine, but it's nice to share, so I will. Han just glared at Sor, his feathers raising slowly... he hated fighting, be he would if he had to. Key stared back at Lan. She shared Han's curiosity with him.

Ok, I will be very interested when you do. Tis replied, though doubting it would ever happen. As far as he knew, it was pretty impossible to get hold of a burning ball of gas a million miles away. And Sor glared right back at him. His upper lip drawn back ever so slightly, just hinting at the razor sharp, and quite large, teeth that were hidden. Why are you staring? Lan asked Key curiously, tilting his head to the side, his ears perked up as his eyes rested on her for a moment.

Okay! You will be the first one I share it with then! Atlantis smiled, although it looked more like a smirk. Her jaws weren't made for smiling, the teeth got in the way. Han flexed his talons, and snapped his beak. He wasn't about to loose if it came to a battle. "Because Key thinks you are interesting," Key explained to Lan. "You love everything, don't you?"

Thank you, I'd be honored. I shall look foreward to it. Tis replied, also giving her a grin, though, like her, teeth got in the way. Sor's red eyes narrowed, staring intently at Han. He sensed that the gryphon was tense, and he was too. If it came to a fight, he would not loose, he would sooner rip Han's apparently useless wings off. Lan nodded and gave a happy bark. Yes! It's all so interesting! And there are so many interesting things to look at and talk to.

Of course, you will be right after Key. Key comes first, but that is okay, because she's Key. Then you, then everyone else. Her eyes widened. How much was the gem going to hurt? Han folded his wings back, the better to snap them open when they attacked. "Can you read? You can find out so many things from books, although there are a few things that you have to experience."

Yes, of course Key would come first. Tis agreed. Torin would come first if he ever had to share anything, naturally. And, I would imagine it would hurt quite a lot. Not a very pleasent experience. If Sor had had a body of his own, he would've been on the gyrphon in the blink of an eye. However, there were two other heads, each with their own personality and some amount of control. And Tis was not so oblivious as Lan, and he knew exactly what Sor was thinking. And he demonstrated a certain amount of control over the rather moody head, keeping him in check. So, Sor just settled for issuing a very low growl. I don't know. What's a book? Lan asked. He had never read before. He actually could read, but he didn't know it.

Do you think a mage would like a star? Han, of course, only had one head, and one personality. Unfortunately, that personality was proud, and Sor was obviously of low breeding, and not worth Han's time. "You don't know what a book is?" Key asked surprised. "Key'll show you sometime, how about that?"

((Low breeding... XD If Sor heard that.... Oh dear...))
Yes, I think a mage would like a star. I think just about anyone would like something as pretty as a star. Sor figured that fighting Han wouldn't provide much glory or satisfaction. Besides, Tis wasn't in the mood for a fight and Lan was just... Lan. That sounds like fun. I would like to know what a book is. Tis knows what a book is. He tried to explain once. But then this mouse ran by and I chased it. And Sor got mad. Lan said, rambling his little story to her.

((-laughs- Yeah, I know. Sorry, it's just something Han would say. Wow...))
Then I will give part of a star as a trade for a gem. She paused, But if I have a star, then I won't need a gem... Han had no such restrictions. He shuffled his wings again, and snapped his beak. "Maybe Key can explain it in a way that doesn't allow for distractions."

((I started laughing when I read it!))
It is a bit of a dilehma. You could have both. And start your own collection of pretty and shiny things. He suggested. Sor growled again, curling back his upper lip fully, exposing the top row of pointy teeth. He didn't like this gryphon very much... And thought he would rather eat him than continue to stare at him... Then Sor wouldn't get mad! And I wouldn't get snapped at! And I would know what a book is! Lan said happily, as if it was the solution to all.

Oh! That's perfect! Yes! Atlantis got to her feet very fast, and tripped over her tail. She landed on her back, her wings spread out under her. Ow. Han was getting angry, and his feathers were standing up, making him look like a chicken. "That is why Key offered."

You alright? Tis asked, inclining his head to look at Atlantis' position better, hoping she hadn't injured herself. And Sor just so happened to notice his chicken-like appearance and he couldn't help but issue a wolfish chuckle. Thank you! Hey, why do you say your name all the time? Lan asked, confused about why she called herself by her own name.

Yes, I think so... Atlantis carefully turned herself over. At least she hadn't swallowed another gem. Han's beak snapped shut with a particularly loud crunch. He was not happy about that chuckle. "Oh? You mean why Key says Key? Because Key picked up the habit from reading to many things. It's called talking in the third person. Not many people do it."
