I'm glad to hear it. Tis said as he watched her move, seeming to be unharmed. It would be a shame for you to injure yourself. Sor smirked at him, knowing he wasn't happy about the laugh. And that only made him more amused. Oh. You are right, I've heard no one who does that. You are the first. Torin definately doesn't do that. Or anyone else in the group of humans.

Yes, then I wouldn't be able to help Key! Or do the work I need to do! For some reason, she sounded happy about the work part. If Han's eye could twitch, it would be twitching. He wasn't about to admit defeat! It wasn't a word that he knew! "Well, every single person, or creature, is different. Han is... um.... Han." She looked over at Han, who was doing his best to strut, and failing miserably. Key shook her head, and continued, "All three of you are different, and so is Atlantis. It makes things interesting."

Do you enjoy doing work? Tis asked, noticing her perky attitude towards it as she said it. Sor was actually quite calm. Well, as calm as he could be while staring angrily at an aggitated gyrphon. And he vaguely wondered just what, if anything, was going to happen. He sure wasn't going to back down. He didn't even know how to do that. Yes, Sor and Tis are very different from each other. And from me. Sor is the mean one and Tis is the smart one! He makes all the hard decisions and can think much better than us. Lan said, glancing at each of them for a second, then back to Key.

Yes. Because it allows me to pass the time, and not be bored! When I'm bored... bad things happen... Atlantis glanced nervously at Key, but her bonded didn't seem to notice. So I like work, Atlantis said again, turning back to Tis. Han would pounce, but it was three against one, and he didn't really want to ruffle his feathers, he'd just gotten them back into place, so he continued to glare. At least glaring didn't mess up how you looked... feather wise... "That's what I mean," Key said, "And it's why Key says Key. It's just a habit, that makes Key a little different from others. I'm sure you have something like that, yes?"

And we wouldn't want bad things to happen. Tis replied with a chuckle. So it's good that you can find something to do so you don't get bored. I hardly ever get bored. Sor however, was getting a bit bored. He, unlike Tis, had a short temper and a high need for adrenaline. And you didn't really get that from staring at a narcissistic gryphon. He would much rather be eating it… Well, I don’t think I’ve ever heard Sor call anyone else an idiot more that me… Lan said, sounding as if it wasn’t quite an insult because he didn’t completely understand.

Nope! Atlantis spread her wings in excitement when she said that, so she toppled forward. She was being a klutz today. She raised her head, her neck supporting her body, and muttered something along the lines of 'M okay! Han, also getting bored, turned away, and fluffed his feathers. And insult... or it intended to be. He didn't know if it would register in the tiny brain of Sor. Han felt that the head which was Sor had even less brains that Lan. "Um...." Key figured that Lan didn't really understand what that meant, but she didn't know if it would be kinder to tell him or not. "Yes. And you know what? Books can sometimes help you understand things, and why people are different. Isn't that interesting?"

Are you normally this clumsy? Tis asked. He didn't mean it as an insult in any way, just a curious question. Sor rolled his eyes. He did understand it as an insult, but he didn't really care. He was bored and aggrivated. The gryphon wasn't really worth his efforts. So, he laid his head on the ground and closed his eyes. Lan cocked his head to the side. Really? They help you understand things. That is interesting. He said, realizing that there must be many kinds of these 'books' Key was talking about. Which kinds of books do you like to look at?

Yes! All the time. I think my wings are to big, and so is my tail, and I tend to fall over... she looked only a little ashamed, and smiled. Han jumped, and with a little effort, flew up to the tree again, then snapped his beck once more. "Key enjoys reading books about people, places, things, and also ones about history." She smiled, "And they do help you understand things. They are very interesting."

Oh I see now. Yes, I think that would make you slightly off balance. But, you will grow into them eventually. Tis told her confidently. Sor cracked his eye open at the sound of Han's jump and saw him in the tree once again. He grinned to himself, unnoticable to anyone, imagining the gryphon falling out of it again. How much time do you spend looking at these books? Lan asked, wondering just how interesting she found them to be.

Yes, hopefully! Although I hope they grow with me once I grow into them. Key says she doesn't know how big I'm going to get. Atlantis looked a little smug, and very happy at this thought. She liked the idea of being very very big. Although not to big. She didn't want to hurt people. Maybe scare the ones she didn't like, but never hurt them. Han fell out of the tree again. "Well, Key considerer's herself a scholar, that's a person who has dedicated their life to reading and learning. I spend.... spent most of my time with books, but there doesn't seem to be many out here." She sighed, "I did bring some of my favorites from the guild however."

Yes, they should. Otherwise you'd be large, although how large I don't know either, and your wings would be small, therefore you would not be able to fly. Tis pointed out. Sor, having his eye wtill cracked open, burst out laughing as Han, for the second time, fell out of the tree. Wow... this gryphon really is a clumsy idiot. He thought to himself, quite amused at the moment. Well, maybe you can start your own collection of books since there aren't any out here. You can put them in a room and let them pile up to the ceiling! Lan suggested airily.

Oh good! Atlantis looked relived. I want to fly very much, with Key too. Then I can get a star. Atlantis looked very happy now. I can glide now, but not fly. Han looked annoyed, and tried again. It almost worked, and Han ended up hanging by his claws from the branch. "That's called a library, and Key enjoys them very much. There are many many books, but you are correct, I should start one here, Key must find a place where they will not be damaged however. If you ever have a chance, would you like to help Key in the Library once it is built?"

Practice makes perfect. Tis said with a grin. You'll be able to fly soon, it's what your wings were made for. And then, you can try to get your star. Sor's eyes glinted with amusement. I don't think you were meant to sit in trees. He said, sounding a bit condescending. Lan gave a little happy yip, Sortislan's tail wagged for a moment. I think I would like to help in this library. They way you talk about it, it sounds like a lot of fun.
