"It's fine..." At his question, she shook her head. "No, you look- Ah." Suddenly she dropped the tray again, and put her hands to her head. "Ah... Ah!"
"Did I tell you to get chatty?" Eris' voice echoed through the room, issuing from speakers. "Out, Thistlen. Take out the dishes, and lock the door. I'm coming to check."
Is she doing it again?! Jadin demanded. Thistlen?! I will kill her-!
"No..!" Thistlen gasped to Jadin, eyes reduced to slits with pain. She reached over and snatched the dishes and staggered from the room. The key clicked in the lock, and then tinkled to the floor, and there was a crash as the dishes fell and shattered.
A minute later, footsteps clicked down the hall, and there was a sound of disgust.
"You useless thing," Eris' voice said from outside. "Get up. Up. What, you've fainted again? Get up!" There was the muffled thud of a foot hitting flesh. "Damn. Tessie, come here. TESSIE! TESSA, GET IN HERE RIGHT NOW!" The footsteps receded.

Tessa didn't want to come.
But since Eris was asking, the door to the bad-bad room had swung open.
And going to Eris was definitely preferable to staying in there much longer.
With no hesitancy, she walked out of the room, shuddering with relief, before going to find Eris.
And, invariably, almost walked into the mad scientist.
"What?" she asked wearily, sounding completely hungry and exhausted.

"Finally! What is wrong with you, you little brat?!" Clearly Eris wasn't in a good mood, and she brought her hand back and slapped Tessa across the face. "You're taking forever! Come here- the Bird's fainted again, and I need you to take her away. And make sure the Horse's room is locked securely!"
Eris had come into the habit of often referring to the experiments by their animals, as remembering their names was too boring for her.

She flinched, face turning red.
"Horse?" she asked cautiously, completely confused. Already Tessa had begun to pick up Thistlen, and looked towards Eris expectantly, ignoring the raw hunger she felt. And th thought that if she could force THistlen to Change, a nice snack sould be provided. She shuddered, throughly disgusted with herself.
She wished Khe was here.

Eris clicked her tongue impatiently.
"Of course," she muttered to herself. "The Snake doesn't know about the Horse. Damn, my stupid sister's distracting me... I wonder why she isn't dead... Well, I'll just kill her again..." She mumbled to herself for a few more minutes, and then, apparently surprised, looked back at Tessa.
"Oh, right, yes. Snake, we caught a little boy from the guild and now we have a Horse. He's in that room. Make sure his door's locked. Bird was locking his door when she fainted. Again." She sniffed in disgust. "Weak little nuisance..."
Well, she had been 'pressing the "ouchie" button' with quite a bit of vehemence, but Thistlen wasn't supposed to do anything without Eris' say so, not even things she couldn't control.
Ooh, she was going into the bad-bad room for this!

Tessa was being both brave and foolish.
"You have a sister?' she pried, after sepositing Thistlen in her quarters and doubling back to do the other half of what Eris had asked. Vaguely she wondered who the 'Horse' was...
Spotting Cied, another question formed on her tongue. "Why is there a Wisp around?"

Tessa, who had been backing away slowly, evaded the kick.
"Hello, Cied."
And now, unknowingly, she touched upon a touchy subject.
"Did Thistlen Bond?" she questioned, now almost completely at Navek's door.

I AM NOT STUPID, YOU... IDIOTIC HUMAN!
As she reappeared, looking concerned for Hers, Jadin proceeded to leap at Eris and... well, kill her. Violently.
But Eris merely sat up again.
"Ouch. Stupid thing..."
Jadin looked horrified.

Tessa had wtached the Earth Fae Wolf in disbelief.
Thistlen had gotten one of those?
And eyes widened more as Eris was mauled and torn apart, but then her body reassembled itself, until not a single drop of blood was left upon the floor.
And then Eris sat up. And spoke.
Completely terrified, Tessa accidentally opened and ran into Navek's room, before locking him and herself in.
Lovely.

"What's going on?." Navek asked, quite surprised by the new girl who had just run into his room and locked them both in. He had been just about to go see what the heck was going on. It didn't sound to pleasent from the sound of things either. Between the dishes crashing, Thistlen fainting, the screaming, and then he heard something that sounded awfully like someone being mauled by a wolf...

He only seemed a tad familiar....maybe his name was Neran, or something like that?

Tessa. One of his 'sisters,' also part snake as his memory recalled. Yet, there was something else that seemed vaguely familiar about her.
"My name is Navek." He introduced. "Have we met before?" He asked her. He almost thought he had seen at the Guild on a few occasions. But what was she doing here? And with Eris nonetheless?

"What...?" Eris asked innocently, looking after Tessa. She stood up and kicked at Thistlen again, much to Jadin's displeasure. The Fae had decided to just accept the stupid situation and let it be, but no one was going to kick Hers...
"Thistlen, get up. Thistlen."
A minute later, Thistlen was up and on her feet again, pale, but up. "Go and get the extra keys, Thistlen, we can't have them in there together.."
