"Let's go collect shiny stuff from the lake!!! We'll go to the weeeeeeee bottom of the lake!!!" Flitz smiled rather widely, giggling in a way.

"WOOOOOOO!" Flitz led the way to the lake, running with her hands in the air like a maniac. Jikinia rolled her eyes and followed the unnaturally hyper girls to the lake.

They made it to the beach of the lake within a few minutes, and Flitz immediately took off her shoes, then sock and jumped in the water, dress and all.

Ash shucked off her shoes and socks and jumped right in, screaming happily like a maniac.

Flitz floated for a while, smiling happily as her new freind screamed and swam about in the water. After she finished floated she looked over at Ash. "What say we start looking for those shiny things, eh?"

Ash, who had been swimming around upside-down (somehow), righted herself and nodded. "Yay!"

Flitz smiled mischivously and dove into the water, swimming swimming swimming until she was nearly at the bottom. Nothing particular glinted at the moment so she swam back up, gasping for air.

Ash swam to the bottom, but didn't bother coming back up. She may not have been a great mage, but she knew enough about water and fire to give her two abilities: withstand fire, and breathe underwater. Nothing shiny...?

Flitz used her wind magic to create a bubble of of air around her head, and her light magic to guide her in the shadowy depths of the lake. She dove again, breathing quite happily and swimming to the bottom, examining the nooks and crannies of rocks and such.
