Gaya bent over the book, which looked more like a cookbook than a spell book, and muttered to herself before poking the fire again, which had gone out. Again. Damn fire. She didn't like it, to hot. A entire family of ravens were nesting in the chimney, and a few mice were chirping at her that she was doing it wrong, and that they, despite their size, could do better. She ignored them, concentrating on getting the blasted fire going again. Lien wasn't around, but Gaya knew how to pass the time. The fire blazed into life, and she laughed in triumph when the pot began to smoke. Stew sounded so wonderful right now...

Isehir had heard some odd noises coming from some shacks nearby as he had walked past, bored as hell, and decided to take a look. He certainly hadn't thought to find an authentic, though very young, witch brewing something in a cauldron.

"'Ello."Gaya said, without looking around. "Want some stew? It's got meat in it, although the mice say that grain by itself is better. Never listen to mice. They've got no idea." She looked back at the book again, then dropped a handful off herbs into the pot with a puff. "Don't worry, it's supposed to look like that." She now looked over her shoulder at him. "I'm Gaya by the way. Spelled G-A-Y-A, but of course, said the way I said it."

Isehir was surprised she knew he was there. "Oh...um...hello Gaya...I'm Isehir...so...you're making stew?" He asked curiously, he had assumed she was making some kind of crazy potion.

"Your boots crunched on the leaves, and the raven's saw you," She told him, seeing his surprised look at how she knew he was there. "Nice name," She told him, snickering, and holding up the book, on which was written: 743 Ways to Cook a Good Stew. She knew what people thought of witches. "Want some? It'll be done soon." She looked down at the stew, and swore under her breath, the fire had gone out again.

"Oh I see..." He mumbled, looking around at all the jet black birds. "Yeah, sure, i'd love some...wnat help with that fire? I'm okay at basic magic..."

"Eh, I've got it." After a few minutes of poking the wood, it burst into flames before. "Ah! Finally, damn fire. I hate it." She sat back, against the table she'd been using to measure ingredients. "Glad you came by, I made way to much, and 'Ittle Lien is with her mommy." She was smirking again. "And it's such a shame to waste good food."

"Indeed it is..." Isehir agreed. He siffed at the air a bit, drawing closer to the pot. "It smells dilicious." He complimented her, obviously meaning it.

"Well, yeah, this books great." She waved the book once again, and then put it down, and began to stir the pot with one hand, the other she began to examine, obviously bored. She was humming a rather cheerful tune to herself. She wasn't a typical witch, as could be seen. "Anyway Isehir, did you have some reason for coming 'ere?

"Well no, not really, I was just bored and I heard some weird noises as I walked by so I decided to check it out and you were what i found." He explained.

"Well, welcome to me little private kitchen then." Her smile was crooked, and her hair was pulled back from her face. No sense in spoiling good stew with bad things. "I'll give you the recipe if you want. Or the book. It's a good book."

Isehir laughed. "Well i'm not sure I need that many recipes for stew but i'd love just the one."

"It isn't actually a lot. There are a few other good ones in here." She riffled through the book. "Although maybe not one's humans would like to eat." She shut the book with a snap, and muttered something. A bowl of smooth stone appeared in the air above Isehir, and landed in his lap. "Sorry, I only had one." She pointed to a glass bowl by her book.

Isehir lifted the heavy stone bowl and shrugged. "Its no problem, i'm sure it will taste just as good in this bowl as in that one."

"Aye, I know. I was just saying how damn heavy it was. Had to mold it from one of the stones." She waved to the stones that made up the building. She looked over at the stew again. "Done!" She announced, and pointed a finger at the stew. "Fill." A portion of the stew floated toward Isehir's bowl, and another toward her own.
