After a good hour of work, Zeyan put away the cleaning supplies and went to find Idean. "All done." he said with a smile.

Idena had been folding the clothing, having washed it, and hung it to dry already. Some of it was still wet of course, but other garments were dry. Good boy. Did you finish everything?

"I think so." He nodded.

Idena sighed, hoping this wasn't going to be horrible. Lead the way, she told him resigned.

Zeyan turned and walked back to the room. Everything was clean...or at least as clean as one would expect from a 400 year old man who had never cleaned before.

You have no clue, do you? Idena walked to a shelf, snatching the cloth off a chair, and lifted one of the figures. Lift them, then wipe the dust up, then clean the figure, then replace it, then move to the next one. She walked back to him, and handed him the cloth. Now you try.

Zeyan looked a little disgruntled, realizing he had missed something so simple. He took the cloth and finished thoroughly under Idena's watchful eye.

Men... Did you get under the furniture? Dust builds up there and just gets everything dusty again. She looked at him, one eyebrow raised. Go check.

"no, i got that, i may not be the brightest but i'm not inept." He laughed.

But you didn't clean out the fireplace, Idena pointed out, gesturing to it. That also helps keep the entire room clean. She walked over, and squatted by the fireplace, eyeing it. It's not terrible, but it could be better.

Zeyan sighed. "Will this ever end?" he asked as he began cleaning it.

Nope. Cleaning is an ongoing process. Stop it, even for a little while, and it's hell to do later. Just keep at it and it becomes easier. Zeyan, for all his boasts of Age, was really like a teenager, he hated to work, and he didn't know a thing...

"Riiiiiiiiight." He grummbled as he finished the fireplace.

Idena hit him over the head with the rag. You have no idea. She told him. Take the soot outside, then come back in. There's still more to do.

"For the love of god..." He mumbled, doing as he was told. (yep...the god that created vampires was actually called god...)
