Idena rolled her eyes when she saw the state of the room. Didn’t Zeyan ever clean? Sighing in resentment and resignation, Idena started to pick up the room. First discarded pieces of clothing, then dusty items along shelves caught Idena’s eye. Four hundred years of dust on some things. How did Zeyan live… or not, as the case may be, like this? Idena’s nose was twitching. Well, seeing as she and Amori were going to have to stay, she might as well make it bearable to walk through the rooms without sneezing so much you couldn’t see. Idena had already stripped her room bare… She and Amori were going to have to teach Zeyan how to clean, if not for their own sake, for all those who followed after them.

Zeyan knocked on the doorframe, seeing as the door was already open. "hey Idena, sorry about all the dust and grime...I just moved in." he of course neglected to mention how he had acquired the place.

((Never even thought of that Mar...))
Idena ignored him, and got on with cleaning. She was not going to ask. She did throw a pair of pants at Zeyan's head though. If you're so sorry, help clean up. She rolled her eyes.

"Yes ma'am." Zeyan chuckled, tearing the tattered pants into a rg which he used to start dusting the furniture.

Don't use a rag! He knew nothing. It just spreads the dust and dirt around! At least dry, like you have it. Go put some water on it, just enough so it's damp, and find a bucket, and fill that with water too! I prefer not to walk on such a dirty floor. Icgh! She picked up another shirt, and tossed it into a pile. She'd do the laundry in a bit.

Zeyan shrugged and did as he was told, coming back with the rag wetted, a bucket of water, and he brought a map and broom incase she'd need either.

Get to work! She glared at him, hands on hips. Use the broom to push the dirt into a small pile, and then sweep it into a dust pan. Did you get that? Do that first. She picked up a arm load of laundry. I will be outside. Get me when you're finished.

Zeyan nodded and went to work.

Idena watched him for a moment, just to make sure, before she stepped outside to wash the cloths. Even if they weren't Zeyan's, they seemed like they might fit him. He needed something other than black and gray to wear. She started to hum to herself, letting her mind wandered and expand slowly.
