Khe was somewhat surprised she hadn't become suspicious of his true allegiance yet, he had revealed much of his true dislike for the collective as well as a great deal of his true nature, which would have worried most other collective members.

Tessa stood, her legs falling asleep.
"I'm thirsty....would you like anything to drink?"
All she had was water sitting right out the windowsill, and an amount of delicious fruit juice she had stolen from Eris, who didn't even like that flavor anyways.
And, of course, the coffee.

"You realise if you put that on it's goign to get knocked off again," she warned, grabbing the bottle of juice and pouring it into two, worn, chipped mugs. A faint aroma of strawberry -or was it pear?- lingered.

"What am I, your living hatstand?" she grinned, tilting the hat out of her eyes and carrying over the juice.
"Just to warn you, I have no clue how it tastes. All I know was the Eris hated the flavor, so it wouldn't be missed if I took it."

"Most probably." And, knowing Eris, it was probably expensive too. Which meant it must be good. Because Eris was lavished with the best of everything if she asked for it.
"Cheers." Tessa took a hesitant sip of the stuff, and found it wasn't bad. It was...interesting. A swarm of different flavors attacked her tongue, from peach to apple to blackberry. It was almost as if many different fruits had been compressed in it but the flavors hadn't blended- and was soemthign that you wanted more of.

"Or trying to eat a fruit salad!" She had had those a couple of times at the Guild, and twice in the Collective. Fruit was hard to grow in the mountains, where hybrid vegetables and russet apples thrived. Not that she minded broccoli, and she adoredp otatoes, but there was soemthing about non-apple fruits which she adored, and craved for.
