Khe had also finished his and set his empty mug beside hers. "Well that was nice and refreshing." He said with a contented expression.

[Avi]

((Erm...my longest was four...-knows that sounds idiotic-))

"Too bad there's next to none left. I probably should try to filch some actual food, but I don't want to take something Eris likes."

[Fear]

Khe gave her a mischevious grin and walked to the food shelves. "Well then how about I get us a little something to eat, instead of you, she probably be more angry with me but at least we know she wouldn't risk doing anything to me." Khe and Eris were on about an even footing ranking wise and it was well known the leader had no tolerance for fighting between his officers. Khe began to rummage through the shelves, making sure his fingerprints were clearly on everything so Tessa couldn't possibly be blamed. Eventually he pulled out to pieces of exspensive looking cheese and a loaf of bread.

[Avi]

"You don't know that..." she began, but he had already taken food. Sighing, Tessa moved around to take out a tarnished (yet clean) knife for the cheese, passing it silently to Khe.

[Fear]

"Don't worry about it, I can handle myself pretty well for an enigmatic weird guy." He chuckled, slicing the cheese and the bread and offering her some.

[Avi]

"Still...."
It was Eris.
She accepted the bread and cheese, taking a hesitant bite of it.

[Fear]

Khe gave her a genuine smile. "Look, I promise you i'll be alright, its nothing to worry about." He said to her seriously, his eyes showing she had nothing to worry about. Then he cracked his usual foolish grin. "Worst case scenario, I end up punting the little witch into a snow bank."

[Avi]

"Oi, I can think of worse things to call her than witch," said Tessa wickedly, taking a larger and firmer bite of the snack.

[Fear]

"Oh so could I, believe me, but my mother always told me to be civil at the table." He joked, taking a bite of his own cheese.

[Avi]

((Livi has somehting new to say to you- whenever she saw your name on the C-box she thought it was FAIRY until that one night....
Livi: Ooh look! Where's your little wand? Come here princess!

Livi: -laughs hysterically-))

"I just wasn't going to since it's her house, I work for her, and despite many 'differences' I am grateful to her." Which sounded odd to her own ears, although she knew what she was talking about. Tessa polished off the remainder of the 'sandwhich', dusting off crumbs for the mice. Mmm, mice....that thought was quickly broken by her.

[Fear]

"Well if she helped someone as nice as you I guess she can't be all bad." Khe said, pondering it.

[Avi]

"Mm. I wouldn't say she exactly helped me...but I suppose in an odd way she has," Tessa amended.

[Fear]

"Oh, I see." Khe said with a nod. He didn't wanna ask her about it because he didn't want to be nosy, even if he was a spy by profession.

[Avi]

An odd light came to her eyes.
"It's almost crazy...but now I almost think I shoudl thank her for having experimented on me."
Tessa didn't add the words: Because if I hadn't, I would have never had this conversation. I would have never met YOU. And Vintaph...and Jilath...KNOW I've been half-driven insane for lack of normal conversation.

[Fear]

Khe smiled "See, I like that attitude rather than the one you had at the fire, start looking at all the perks of your new ability rather than the downside."
