"Ugh. Well, cats never are very easy to control. I should have used some lap dog. Someone like you, Tessa... hmm. Anyway, blue hair? Hmm... Oh! You mean the Dragon-freak! Yeah, she was a failure, too. Emotional, that one. Fortunately, she's on her way here now! Isn't that delightful?"

((HINT HINT. Oh, Akito is the head of the Sohma family. Furuba. He's an asshole and mentally tortures Kyo-kun and Yuki-kun. HE HIT MOMIJI-KUN AND TOHRU-CHAN! -kicks him really hard- He calls them all "monsters".))

[Avi]

"Delightful, yes." she agreed. "Way too soft-hearted...what'd you do to her?"
Dragon-freak? Nothign she'd ever seen aroudn the girl had ever been draconic.
"Or maybe you could have used some sort of falcon. Very obedient, I've been told, as well as deadly."

[Uni]

"Oh!" Casrina said with a little laugh, "That one? I thought she'd flead years ago? Oh well."
"She was fun to tease!" Ze laughed, appearing on Casrina's shoulder.
"Yes Little one. You did have fun with her, didn't you? But don't you like the new one even better?"

[Amaranth]

"I thought splicing draconic and human genes would make a fierce, ruthless fighter with a marked lack of intelligence, but it didn't work, and we've got a weakling on our hands. That's why I dumpd her off to be a servant somewhere and wreak havoc, no? What an ugly monster..."

[Avi]

"New one? What's it this time, Casrina, Eris?"
She nodded.
"Backfiredo n you. Ever thoguht of using soem sort of spirit and human?"

[Amaranth]

"Couldn't get my hands on a test subject, no," said Eris rather sadly. "This one.. well, this one's supposed to be a Wolf-freak, but it's not finished yet."

[Uni]

"You can't be perfect at all of them dear. That other one did turn out good though. Remeber? She's still wandering around out here somewhere isn't she?"

"You wouldn't let me keep her!" Ze whinned.
"I said shoosh."

[Amaranth]

"Which one are you talking about, Cassie?" Eris asked mildly, using her nickname for Casrina. "I lose track of them so quickly after they're discarded..."

"You could always use Oyam or Ze. But word's on the street that the Collective spririt Tree isn't giving out many more spirits."
And then Tessa knew what she wanted to do.
It was utterly mad.
"Would you like any help?"

[Uni]

'Cassie' Didn't flinch at her nickname, only Eris used it.
"Ze? Ho no! Vintaph would not approve of his little daughter being used for an experiment... But we have a few candidates." Turing slightly toward Eris, she said, "That other one. I don't really remember. The only thing wrong with her was that she went crazy at any noise, remeber?"

[Avi]

"You could use Oyam. It would be like turning Jilath against herself, yes?"
"So what about my offer? Woudl you be alright taking in a former expiriment as an apprentice?"

[Amaranth]

"Nope... I've been very busy... Don't remember... Um.... Anyway, help with what, Tessie-wessie?"

"Yes you do," Casrina said, her eyes glazed slightly. "Vintaph says lying is only good when your not doing it to him."

She turned back to Tessa. "You might be able to help me. Of course, you probably won't want to. My tests are even more painful than Eris Dear's."
