"Um, I think that that counts as terrible," said Amaranth, indicating the two of them. "That sort of behavior... is... definitely not good. Especially when we all need both of them. Even if I put aside the fact that I care about both of them and hate to see them so upset, this is still terribly awful. Selfishly I must note that the Guild will have huge problems if they are not getting along."

Fayd flicked his eyes to Serge who shrugged and walked over. "Think there's going to be a problem?" Not sure. Keep an eye open incase there is. Never hurts to be too careful." Serge nodded and then vanished into the shadows, most likely to find the highest point he could and watch the room. Fayd sighed, ran a hand over his eyes once and decided to do what he hated(and feared) most. Socalize.

"Yes, if they can't work together, things will go awry." Zeth agreed. "I wonder how this problem can be resolved. It can't stay like this. If it does, bad things will definately happen. And probably quickly as well."

"Probably quickly..." Amaranth repeated, watching Jeni, then Aeos, with concern. "I hope we can at least make it through tonight without things falling apart."

Aeos kept walking, trying to push the fight out of his mind for now, he had something more important to do. He forced an excited grin onto his face and stepped up onto the stage. He cleared his throat and then turned towards the crowd. "May I please have everyone's attention?" he called scross the room.

Fayd looked at Aeos and inched his way towards the stage slowly.

Amaranth glanced around the room, then focused her attention on Aeos. Wow. He was terrible at fake smiling. Well, she was worse, but that wasn't the point.
Ceredin turned to look at the Guildmaster, but made sure, subconsciously, that she was standing between Calyx and the dias. Just in case.

Serge had found a high place, out of veiw of most of the crowd. He was able to look down at the Main Hall though, and was in the perfect postion to jump down and stop a major fight from happening.

Zeth's eyes were focused on Aeos. He could tell that the Guildmaster was faking it. And doing a terrible job of doing so. He glanced over at Jeni, who was not paying even the slightest speck of attention, and then looked back to Aeos, wondering what he was going to say.

Aeos's grin turned from the forced one from before to a genuine grin as he remembered what he was up here to do. "Well, our festivities are quickly coming to an end as the night comes to a close, however my friends, our fun doesn't have to stop here. A little while ago, a scroll written in an arcane language was discovered hidden in the library. The scroll was quickly translated by an interested demon and it reads as such..." He said as he pulled a weathered scroll out of his robe and unrolled it. It may or may not have been made out of human skin and it may or may not have been inked in human blood, it was hard to tell with these things... The back had a particularly sinister jack-o-lantern sketched on it and the front was covered in similarly sinister curved crimson scrawlings. Aeos began reading the scroll aloud. "To all those who love All Hallow's Eve, read the following incantation before you turn in after your ghoulish fun and Halloween will stay with you until sunrise." Aeos read with a devilish grin. "Shall we give it a try?"

Serge looked once at Fayd who nodded briefly. Serge sighed and leaped down onto the stage, making sure it was head first and twisting in mid-air to land next to Aeos. "I'll do it," stated the young warrior as he bowed to Aeos.

Ceredin... well, she wasn't quite sure what to make of that scroll, but it was definitely creepy, and she resisted the urge to hiss at it, which would have just looked stupid. In stead, she glared at it. It didn't help, but it was the principle of the thing. "Whatever," she muttered eventually, not taking her eyes off the thing.
Amaranth really didn't like that thing. It did not have a... happy aura. It was vaguely sinister, and she wanted absolutely nothing to do with it. She didn't particularly like All Hallow's Eve (as she had learned it was called) either. She didn't say anything.

"I wonder what this is all about?" Zeth wondered aloud, staring at the creey looking old scroll.

"I don't think it's a wise idea..." Sara started. Something didn' seem quite right about it...and, naturally being a mage, she didn't trust such scrolls. Desperately she looked for some way out, she didn't want to be a part of this...

"Then don't participate," muttered Fayd as he appeared beside Sara. "The doors are un-locked, are they not?"
