"I do not know..." Amaranth responded softly. "But I... really do not like it. At all."

"I don't think so..." she glanced at the crowd behind her. "I doubt I oculd get out anyways. I just...don't like it..." She looked aorund uneasily.

"It's probably not a wise idea." Jeni scoffed, agreeing with Sara.

"I don't like it." It was statign the obvious, but there was soemthing mistrustful about it, ominous...she shook her head to clear it. "It could be harmless, but usually harmless spells arne't jacked up like that...."

"Some of the things in the library are very old magic," Amaranth said, more to herself than anyone. "And very dangerous. He should not be playing with that if he does not know what it is...."

"Then we'll use Serge as a test subject. He's not afraid of some magic," responded the Hunter as he looked around.

"But it doesn't sound like a spell that only affects one person. I think it would affect /all/...If I'm wrong, I'm wrong, but I'd rather not have to be the subject of some malicious spell."

"I'd have to say I agree." Zeth said, he knew that Amaranth was right. He had seen a lot of old scrolls and such, being a mage and knowing a lot of magic, and he knew that there was some pretty dangerous stuff. "But, do you think we can trust that Aeos wouldn't put the Guild members in danger?" He asked a bit skeptically.

"Get off my stage you!" Aeos said crossly but with a grin. He kicked serge hard enough to knock him off the stage but used some wind magic to facilitate a soft landing. "Anyways, here we go..." Aeos began to chant in a language that was easily twice as sinister as the scroll itself. After a few minutes he finished the chant and looked around with a slightly evil grin. "And with that, I bid you all good night."
(ok time to move on with the plot, please everyone RP you're characters reactions to what Aeos did[for the record, nothing noticeable has happened because of it] then RP your characters leaving and going to bed.)

"I don't think we can...he's not the brightest, and thinks it's benign..." Sara cut into Amaranth and Zeth's conversation. She was not happy with this...
He had said stuff anyways. Damn him. This wasn't going to end well, she was sure...nothing seemed to be happening. But she was still suspicious. Sara probably shoudl go to bed. But instead she headed to the library, tryign to find where the scroll might have come from...
Sasha had been busy when the entire thing had happened, didn't notice, and went to bed as soon as people began filing out the door.

"He would never do anything that might endanger any of us intentionally..." Amaranth said, hesitantly, "But you know Aeos. I expect it seems some grand joke to him. Freak us all out with the "scary scroll," read it, and then yell BOO and laugh at us as we are terrified." As Aeos actually read it, though, she looked vaguely terrified and unconsciously stepped closer to Zeth.
Ceredin did something different, moving without thinking to be even more in front of Calyx. She was definitely the protective type, whether she knew it or not. "Calyx," she said, "Is it just me, or did that thing seem like it was not a joke?"

Serge stood swiftly and brushed himself off. He gave a puzzled look to Fayd and then vanished into the shadows. Bed called.
Fayd stood there for a minute, going over what Aeos had read. Something felt wrong but the Hunter had no idea what it was. Fayd figured a good sleep would clear his mind enough to think over the scroll. So the Phantom dressed man bowed to Jeni, Sara and Amaranth, and was gone before a reply could be stated.
