"...I could help with that...I promise you won't be turned into a vampire or anything."

And she better not, warned Amori. I would get you if she was. No menace was found in her 'voice' but it was shown she was compeltely serious. And he was wearing clothes....he might not be able to die a natural death, but strangling wasn't nautral, was it?

I think I'll just let Amori use a scrap of clothing and close it that way if you don't mind. Sorry to deprive you of a good meal. She rolled her eyes, and held out her hand to her sister. Mori?

Zeyan rolled his eyes. "Give me a break..." he extended a finger and wiped the blood off the wound, the wound healed in the wake of his finger, leaving an already fading scar.

I could have gotten it... Well, the good news was Idena didn't look any different, so Zeyan probably hadn't been underhanded....

I'm fine. Idena informed her sister, still watching Zeyan closely. I would appreciate if you were asked in the future before you do anything to me or my sister, even if you think you are helping us. We might not think so. She huffed, and started to examine her hand.

"Yeah well if I hadn't done that, you'd never trust me with something like that because i'm a vampire." He said knowingly.

You think we trust you now? Idena asked him hotly.

Look, we wouldn't trust you even if you /weren't/ a vampire. said Amori scornfully.

"Look, i've known humans for 400 some odd years, you can say what you want but subconsciously you trust me more." He said simply.

Riiiiiight. I also think, from my nineteen years of experience, that you are so lonely that you've become disillusioned.

"Quite possibly."

Yes, nodded Amori. Quite possibly. I mean, years of loneliness woudl go to your head, seeing as Emozas (or whatever his name is) left you a couple years ago, and I highly doubt you had anyone before then. Plus I'm quite sure you've never been able to entertain any lady friend and that Zemasoz was purely a mistake, seeing as he's your only child from a long life of 417 years. She was quick.

Wonderful 'Mori, Idena commented. You seem completely clueless when it comes to females. Really, it's rather... sad. She began to laugh quietly. Do you know how many boys we've turned down? Two at once would be a catch any boy would work for.

All boys are such a disappointment, said Amoris softly, mentally laughing. Well, it wasn't as if she could laugh /laugh/... Idiots, many of them. Too bad you're a vampire and close to unkillable...otherwise I'm quite sure you be dead now...
