Look, said Ally tiredly, rubbing her forehead with a hand as a headache seemed to come on. I don't know when-if I can get back again. Storm's have been really bad lately, and I came because it's supposed to be clear today and tomorrow. Really, this irked her. She couldn't see how he could want to stay in such a hellhole....

I'll be fine for now.... I think.... Navek said, sounding slightly uncertain but a little hopeful. I do want to go back to the Guild. It's just there's a bit of a problem. The chip that Eris so graciously implanted in my brain. He explained sarcastically, loathing that little piece of technology with all of his being.

Thistlen actually had a suggestion. "Um..." she began, wincing as their attention flickered toward her. "I think.. I could short it out... just for a few hours..." She was going to be in so much trouble. "See... I have poison on my claws... it works on the chips... if you could get out for just a little while... maybe you could figure out how to get away forever..."

Navek turned to look at Thistlen, interested in what she was saying. But, he couldn't help but think it might not work. Not that he doubted her ability to short it out. Just that it wouldn't be permanent. And.. how exactly would she go about it....? Although that would be wonderful and is a good idea, it wouldn't be a permanent solution, just for a few hours, right? So, doesn't that mean Eris can still use it against me once it goes back to normal?

Venturing now to speak out loud, Ally offered, "Well, Ary and Amy don't have that problem...." News got around. And when you were a horse cooped up in the stables, you heard alot.

Thistlen perked up. "Are they all right, then?" she asked. "I know they got out, but I wasn't sure if they'd made it..." She blushed. She'd started talking. She wasn't supposed to talk. She looked down. "Anyway," she went on in a mumble, "I've no idea why Eris doesn't try to get them back... I think that her old chips didn't have the same capabilities. They're very limited, and only work in a certain range... She's been improving her technology. But, yes, if I shorted yours out, Navek, it'd go back to normal after a few hours... But maybe you could figure out a way to get away for good if you had that much time without her listening..." She was in so much trouble.

Errr... Have you ever done that before? Navek asked Thistlen, still slightly skeptical of the whole thing. He wasn't really sure why he was questioning everything, this should've been the savior, he escape from Eris. But he was nervous, sure something would go wrong. Whether he get caught or Eris regained control of the stupid chip in his brain or something of the sort. Maybe it wouls just be better to stay for a little bit longer until he could create a fool proof plan and guarentee its success.

"From what I've heard, yes. B have a mate too..." She didn't even know Amy and Ary refered to Cairn and Paden as mates. Ally was only going from her view as a horse, which is how alot of her views seemed to end up. Would magic kill the chips?" Ally didn't regard that as a battle or fight, and would be happy to fry the chip that way. "And couldn't you come with us?" She throughly ignored everything Navek said. He wasn't sensible.

"Me? No. I couldn't. Mine's resistant.." She actually smiled, though bitterly. "A burst of foresight, I suppose... Just go, Navek. It would certainly be nice if you could figure out a way to get out forever while you were gone... I'll cover for you." She was so dead. Before he could question her again, Thistlen stepped forward, toward him, and slashed out with her right hand. It gave the left side of his head, just in front of the pointed horsey ear, a glancing blow, and a tiny drop of blood oozed out. There was a fizz that probably hurt, and the chip went out. For about three hours. "Three hours," she told him, and then left. If Eris had been watching the screen, she'd wonder what was going on. Thistlen had to distract her.

Navek winced as she shorted out the chip, the small burst of pain flared, making his head throb for a moment before it began to dull down. Thank you, Thistlen. For everything. He said to her before she left, throughly thankful for all her help. He would have to find a way to repay her. But at the moment he knew he had to get out, and quickly, before Eris caught him and Ally.

Thistlen thought as quickly as she could. What could she do to distract...? Wait. The lab. Perfect. Oh, Vintaph, she was so dead.
Two minutes later, Eris was attracted to the lab by the sound of smashing. A lot of smashing. Glass smashing, metal smashing, cage smashing, window smashing, table smashing... Just a lot of smashing. Miscellanious smashing. Of course, when she discovered the source of the smashing... Well, let's just say that it didn't end well for Thistlen. But, hey! Eris was certainly distracted.

Thanks. Funny. She actually liked Thistlen. But now they needed to get away. She swung out the window and impatiently waited for Navek to follow.

Navek waited until Ally had gone back out of the window before he changed. It was still an odd feeling, going from a human to a horse and back. And, it was surprisingly easy. But he didn't have time to think about that as he grabbed the clothes Thistlen had given him and quickly put them on before following Ally out the smashed window. He landed next to her, making a pair of footprints in the thin blanket snow. "I take it you know they best way out, seeing as you got in so well?"

She didn't answer him at first, raising the broken glass and remelting it into the window. It looked as before, but there was this suspicious sheen that could only be her magic. And anyone who broke it would get a nasty burn. "Yes. There's a small trail..." Well, it wasn't a trail trail...it was one made by animals and quite unnoticeable.

Navek looked at the small trail. "Very convienient." He said with a small grin, beginning to follow it, glad to be out of that room. He just hoped Eris wouldn't find him. Or that she wouldn't kill Thistlen or anything. He knew Eris would be furious with them both. And he didn't want to think about what she would do to him if she found him.
