"I'm Elsie," the girl said, smiling obliviously. "This's my sister, Tara! She's sooooooooooo smart! She'll take you home! Won't you, Tara? PLLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEEEE? " 'Tara' winced at the loud voice. "Yes, Elsie," she said, meekly. "Of course. Follow me."

"I'm Navek." He introduced, looking at the two sisters. "Sure." Navek said, somewhat hesitantly as he began to follow Tara, wondering just where they lived.

"This way, this way," Elsie hummed to herself as she skipped along after Tara. After a while, they reached a cheerful little cottage. Actually sort of scary.

Navek walked quietly alongside Tara and Elsie. A thoughts drifted through his mind as they reached the small cottage. It looked harmless. But, did it look too peaceful? He couldn't really tell. Nor did he like the fact that he was so close to the Collective. "Nice place." He comented casually. Once he was warm again, he would high-tail it back to the Guild.

Navek stepped over the threshhold, a sense of foreboding washing over him. He tried to shake it off, telling himself he was just being an idiot and that he would only spend a few minutes and then return. Besides, the two girls were nice. If not a little strange. But hey, he came from the Guild, there, strange was normal.

"Ooh! We simply must make him something to eat!" Elsie squealed, half-forgetting how stupid she was supposed to be. "Tara!" she said, quickly reapplying her look of good-natured stupidity, "Bring him something to eats! Oooh! I knoooooooooows! Bring him the special stew! It's nice and hot, right? Briiiiiing it!" 'Tara' fetched the "special stew" without a word and handed it to Navek. Then she looked away and went to stand in the corner. Elsie smiled. "Eat, please! You'll feel lots better!" Well, she had only put a little poison in it. It would take, oh, ten minutes or so to knock him out, but then he'd be out for at least a week... And all he had to do was take one bite. ((^^))

"Thanks." Navek said as he looked at the stew in front of him. It just seemed to be urging him to take a bite and taste it's "deliciousness." It was very tempting. It was still nice and hot, he could feel the steam driffting up from it. And it felt so nice on his frozen nose, and it smelled good too. Especially when his stomach joined in with pursuading him to eat it. So he finally gave in and took a bite, against better judgement.

"Oh, yay," Elsie said. Did her smile look a bit... malicious? No, she was just a silly little girl who lived on a mountain with her quiet older sister. That was all. ((^^))

"This is pretty good." Navek said after he had taken a few more bites. "What's in it?" He asked curiously. There was something about it that tasting just a tiny bit off. He was probably just imagining it.

"I dunno," Elsie said, shrugging. "Tara's the one who makes it! Well..." Now that there was no more need to pretend, 'Elsie's' eyes glittered coldly. "Her name isn't actually Tara... Oh, dear, you seem to have eaten the wrong stew..."
