Uni smiled into the shops that lined the main street of the town. She was here for something she'd always wanted. Something she now needed. One hand was placed over her stomach. The snow was melting, and the slush from the street was lapping against her boots. She ignored it though. She was to excited.

Sasha was within the pet shop with Kinny, whom, as usual, was being a doggy idiot.
Ooh! Bone! Can I get the bone? Bones arey ummy...and I bury them. Burying bones is FUNFUNFUN!
And so on, so forth.
Sasha sighed, pretty much blocking out all the the dog yipped, concentrating on getting a new collar. Kinny's, after long years of service, had finally snapped.

Uni pushed her way into the shop, and shook off her coat. It was cold outside. She smiled indulgently at all the animals before ambling over to the dogs.

Ary was also in the pet shop, and also looking at collars. The difference was that the collar was for her. She'd ripped her last headband... Damn, the raccoons really liked stealing her headbands... Or maybe Paden did... Since now he had the nose, he could find her caches. In any case, she now had nothing to use for a collar, so she was going to get a real one. And wear it.
Talk about embarassing... People kept asking what sort of dog she had.

Uni, noticing for the first time that there were two other Guild members here, Smiled, and waved to both of them before peering at the dogs. She knew Sasha quite well, and Ary only slightly. Still, it was polite to say hello. "Sasha! Hello! Kinny too." She smiled indulgently at the dog, then nodded her head at Ary.

Ary smiled in return, slightly nervously- great, another Guildmember, but it wasn't as though she appeared to be much of a threat. She was a smiling pregnant woman, for Jilath's sake. Still, experience told her to be wary. Of everyone.
Ah, well, she seemed friendly enough.
A black collar, that would be best. Leather? Hmm...

"Hello you!" Uni patted the frantic dog on the head, and scrunched his ears. "And you too Sasha." She smiled at Kinny, and managed to hold him off her. "Kinny finally need a new collar?" She looked up at Kinny's owner. "I'm here for a dog of my own."

"Yes, his snapped last night when he was running around and chasing Neomir....and you're finally getting a dog?" Sasha had hinted before at how a dog would be lovely for Uni- even before the other woman had gotten married.

"Aw, Kinny liked that collar." She laughed, and smiled at Sasha's last comment. "Yes, finally. I think it would help with the baby, and Kaos will love it." She just didn't know what breed, what gender, and what age.

I did, said the dog mounrfully, ears drooping.
"Yes, you did," agreed Sasha, scratchign behind the mutt's ears in an effort to cheer him up. "Well, it'll help more if you get a slightly older dog. Not old, but not a puppy anymore. Unless you both want to have to take care of the baby 24/7 plus housetrain a puppy and make sure it doesn't get jealous of the new kid..."
