Yes, but at least it's visable. I never thought I'd be so happy just to see it. Navek replied, carefully stepping around a pile of rocks. So, did you really make that bet with Myrkur and Zel? He asked, wondering if it had been true.

No. They forced me to come get you and do whatever it took to get you back. It's not like either of them could come- zel's too small, and Myrkur's a Jilath Spirit.... Besides, he was her owner. Well, Ally wasn't so sure about that anymore. seeing as now he was sort of a horse too....but his mindset was far too human.

((I love how her reason for questioning it is because he's part horse, not the fact that she's part human XP))
Navek gave a small sigh of relief. It's not like it was that bad, he just didn't like the idea of betting against his return to the Guild. And he could only imagine just how Myrkur and Zel would be feeling. Well that's good. I do miss them. It's been way to long. How long exactly? He asked her. He knew she had said weeks, but how many was still a question.

Almost four weeks. Four weeks of complete freedom. Besides Zel and Myrkur bugging her 24/7 to go get him...
((XP I know! But it's...Ally.... ^^))

Navek stumbled for a second, but regained his composure. Four weeks!? A whole month he had been gone! It didn't seem like that long. He just couldn't believe he'd been stuck in the Collective all that time. Well, at least it hadn't been too bad. Thistlen had been very nice to him during his stay. He was greatful for that. Speaking of which he still had to find a way to repay her for all that she had done to help him.

((I wanna smash up a lab!))
She snorted. You're amusing... Coming from Ally, it was to the gods to figure out if that was a good or bad thing.

((That would be fun XD))
Errr... thanks. I think. Navek said, wondering if that was meant as a compliment or not. Though he knew he'd probably never get an answer to that thought.

((I know! Smashing everything....-goes starryeyed-))
She just shook her mane, plowing on to enter the forest expanse which would still be quite a few miles to the Guild. About ten, possibly twelve....or maybe eleven.

((*nods*))
Navek followed silently as they entered the forest, trying to sort out all of the random thoughts zooming throughout his brain since they had left. Fortunately, his head didn't hurt anymore, from when the small chip had been shorted out. He was really wondering just how Thistlen had managed to distract Eris. And, how much trouble she would be in because of it. He felt kind of bad, knowing that she would be in a whole mess of trouble just because she wanted to help him.

You okay? she asked, perceptive to his silence. The woods was nice...and so much easier to walk on than the icy mountains.

Navek quickly looked up. Yeah.. Fine. He replied, trying to sound a bit more cheerful than his fairly depressing thoughts. Just thinking to myself. He explained continuing to walk through the quiet woods.

Ally whisked her tail in what might have been a dismissal. Thinking can be dangerous, she said semi-seriously.

Navek chuckled. Well I can think of a lot more dangerous things than thinking. Like trusting Eris for example. If you do that, you get turned into an animal.

That hurt. She found that highly offensive, just the way he said it. Immediately Ally seemed to lock herself up, and moved ahead. Whatever she had had in him -respect, not trust- was quickly tugged back.
